A second congratulations are in order for one of Hollywood’s most adored couples. As Wall Street Journal real estate reporter Katherine Clarke confirmed via Twitter, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have officially closed on a $9.02 million Nolita penthouse located in the Brewster Carriage House condominium complex. This is the couple’s second apartment in the famed complex at 374 Broome Street; they sold their first, much smaller space in August 2016 for $4.5 million. [Source: TRD]
The news comes on the heels of the birth of John and Chrissy’s second baby, a boy named Miles Theodore. The new penthouse is plenty big enough to accommodate the newly minted family of four; it houses three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a private roof garden and terrace. The “vintage meets modern” space features a gas fireplace, spacious 13-inch ceilings, eight oversize windows, an open chef’s kitchen, a fully integrated Miele dishwasher and refrigerator, a Miele oven and cooktop, and an extra-large sink with an Italian custom-plated kitchen faucet.
Winged master bedrooms flank each side of the living space, both with deep walk-in closets. The south-facing master suite features an oversize soaking bath, a fully enclosed 10-inch rainwater shower, heated floors, and classic white Bianco Dolomiti marble countertops. There’s also an adorable kids’ bedroom with two full-size beds draped in matching Hermés blankets. We assume they’ll be to Luna’s and Miles’ liking when they get a bit older.
