Celebrity chef Bobby Flay has dished up his Saratoga Springs, New York, vacation home, putting it on the market last week for $3.295 million. That means Flay, 58, will almost double his money on the upstate pad, which he bought for $1.7 million in early 2021, records with PropertyShark show. The four-bedroom Tudor-style home, which was featured in House Beautiful in April, was built in 1939, and it neighbors the horse-racing mecca’s Oklahoma Training Track, ideal for Flay, who’s a racing enthusiast and horse owner.

Flay purchased the 3,087-square-foot home as a “seasonal outpost to host and cook for family and friends,” New York City-based interior designer Olivia Capuano—founder and principal at Olivia Jane Design—who revamped the property, told House Beautiful. She transformed a home office into a bourbon lounge and an existing fire pit into a sprawling outdoor kitchen.

Unsurprisingly, the heart of the home is the high-end gourmet kitchen, which has a vaulted ceiling, exposed brick and a gas fireplace as well as views over the training grounds, according to the listing with JoAnn Potrzuski Cassidy with Julie & Co. Realty, who declined to comment on the listing.

There’s also the dark-painted and brooding bourbon room with a wet bar, two primary bedroom suites—one on the ground floor and one upstairs—and light-filled living spaces, including a sunken sitting room. Outside, the outdoor kitchen is joined by an expansive patio and “unmatched views,” the listing said. A representative for Flay couldn’t be reached for comment. [Source: Mansion global]

The Times Union first reported the listing.
